Sleep Well

Verily, I have been feeling that I am being disturbed quite often these days — experiencing mood swings, and feeling slightly out of control of my day-to-day tasks.

There have been a few changes — good, positive changes — but overall, it has felt more like a roller coaster than a smooth journey.

One Thing Leads to Another...

The real problem?

I haven’t been getting enough sleep.
And because of that, I wasn’t going to the gym.
Because of that, I wasn’t eating right.
Because of that, I didn’t have enough energy.
Because of that, I couldn’t finish my daily tasks.
Because of that, my list of unfinished tasks piled up.
Because of that, I felt less in control.
And because of that — I was getting agitated.

I’m Not Blaming Anyone… But

Now, I won’t blame my friends for all this.
I mean, as adults, we shouldn’t be watching TV late or hanging out if we know we’ve got work the next day.

But obviously, it requires mutual co-operation.

The Sleep Rule

So, for the next few days, I will desperately try to follow a rule:
✅ Sleep by 11:00 PM.
❌ Never let it go past 12:00 AM, except on weekends.

Whenever I sleep on time, everything gets back on track by itself:

  • My routine

  • My learning

  • My cooking

  • My moods

Everything just feels better.

What I’ll Not Sacrifice

I will not sacrifice my sleep unless:

  • It’s really important (e.g., I have to be somewhere)

  • Someone needs my help (e.g., hospital emergencies)

  • Most importantly, for the Lord, because I can never thank Him enough

Already Seeing the Difference

I started following this rule yesterday, and I am already feeling the benefits.

So yes — Sleep Well.

  3. you know..you can manage sleep less nights if you are staying with the family that helps alot..but if you are living own your own..and just once in weeks due to adrenalin rush..you decide to have a night out for example jus driving and having fun...trust me it will take you atleast two weeks to correct everything !!!!!!! you know early to bed early to rise makes healthy wealthy and WISE...now two out of three are surely for sure true...healthy and wise lolzzzzzz..i got to see wealthy part yet...
